Mt. Lanaya, Alegria, Cebu

This is his 4th time Trekking. He says it's his "Digital Detox".
Here is his picture before going:

And again, thanks to God their trekking went well and came home safely.
Here are the pics.

This time, with his barkada again. :)

Nice view you got there! He's a bit tired, looking at the view. :)

Sunset view at Alegria. :)

A new pair of shoes, very easy to clean. :D No more complaints from me! He also got  a handy solar charger!

Brilliant! Putting his headlamp on the gallon of water!

Tres Marias - Naval, Biliran, Leyte

This is the 3rd time my hubby went on a trekking adventure. As what I've promised from my previous post Budlaan to Sirao Peak Traverse, I took a picture of him before he goes on his trekking.

Here he is:

I always pray for his safety. And thank God, He hears my prayers all the time.
Here are the pics on their Tres Marias Trek.

They're not using tents this time, only hammocks.

Tents won't do much in Tres Marias coz there's no wide space to set up your tent. Hammock is best suited.

Very muddy! I frowned looking at this picture.. Guess who will clean this up? Me, of course! LOL.

He took a picture of a wild berry. I asked him if it was delicious. He said, he didn't eat it. It's poisonous. How'd he know that was poisonous then? I didn't asked him. He'll just say, if I ate it, I'd be dead and not come home. Hahahaha! Logic? ;)

I don't like this pic. Looks messy! But, just want you to know that they cleaned it up before leaving. A trekker is a nature lover. :)

A pose with a different team. His barkada weren't there. Only he made it into career. :D

Ulan2x falls. Picture was taken around 4am. Very cold.. Brrrrr!

"I'm on top of the bushes!" Hahahahaha. They've reached the peak.

Budlaan to Sirao Peak Traverse - 2nd Time Trekking

During his first trek in Osmena Peak to Kawasan Falls, I was not able to take a picture of him.

This time, I got to take a picture of him every time he goes on a trekking adventure.

Here it goes, in his Full Trek-Mode Attire! ^_^

They say, a picture says a thousand words... But behind the picture is a wife whom without anyone's knowing is always praying for the safety of her husband. Charot-mode on. LOL! But truly, that's how I feel every time he goes on trekking away from me and our kids.

And thank God he got home safely... Here are the pics after their trekking.

Pose before trekking starts. Only four of them. Some backed out due to tight schedule.

Tired? He's using his trekking pole already! ^_^

The water looks dirty? He said, it's because of the soil beneath the falls. It is not dirty at all. ^_^

The "Hangak Backpackers!" Their team name. :D

To quench their thirst?! Haha.. He said, it's good for their body, to gain body heat for it is cold there. :D

Now the hard climbing part begins!

Nice shot!

The picture says it all! Hungry it is.

Putting up their tents.

Before going home. He looks sad on this picture. He thought he lost his wallet(all his ID's are inside it). But when he came home from trekking and I dug on his stuffs, I found his wallet in his tent bag.
Next time, no bringing of wallets! Just 1 or 2 identifications would do. :)

His First Time Trekking

I was a bit nervous and excited when my husband decided that he would go on a trekking adventure with his barkada. At first, I thought it was just a usual barkada outing(tagay session or a beach escapade coz that is what they usually do when he goes with his barkada). But to my surprise, it was a mountain hiking session.

His first trekking place - Osmena Peak to Kawasan Falls(Aug. 31-Sept. 1, 2014).

Here are some of the pics of their trekking:

With his barkada. Taking a pose before hiking starts.

Not bad for first timers!

I'm too proud of him! ^_^

Putting up their tent.

Breathtaking view!

Off to Kawasan...

First-aid kit is very important! Thank goodness my hubby got his own kit and helped his friend.

At Kawasan Falls. Too tired to smile! ^_^
